For Thursday 10/25/07

1) Find the annotation that you are least comfortable with and indicate to the partner. Give the partner your original source and let them give you feedback on possible ways to imporve your entry.

2) Look at your partner's whole annotated bibliography;

  • go back to their topic proposal and see what their paper is going to be about (the issue, the argument, the rhetorical situation, etc.)
  • evaluate if the bibliography they have pulled together allows to give a range of perspectives on the issue or is lacking something
  • comment on what works or what needs improvements,. and, ideally, provide suggestions on how to go about the improvments.

3) Carolina Reader p. 260, Question 4:

How is body-image culturally constructed? Is it constructed by us? Is it constructed for us? What can it lead to for common people?

Use your readings from CR and your world knowledge to answer this question. Post your reflection to your blog.
